LAFAYETTE PRINCIPAL CONFIRMS DEI TRAINING THAT TEACHERS DID NOT WANT.

A Rockwood parent asked Karen Calcaterra today whether teachers were reading this for professional development.

The answer was yes.

Excerpt:

"...educators who resist anti-racist measures should feel uneasy, isolated on the outskirts of their schools’ institutional cultures." 

That excerpt is from an article written by Paul Gorski, founder of the Equity Literacy Institute.

Here is the email confirming its use.

We confirmed this same training was used today at Marquette. 

The link to the article was leaked by a teacher who did not want to attend today's training. This is the 4th leak over the last year, from teachers who are uncomfortable with the focus on race in their training sessions. See previous leaks here.
