Critical race theory is based, in part, on the idea that our country and its institutions are racist. Law enforcement is one of those institutions.

So, if you're someone who says Critical Race theory is NOT in our schools, consider: 
The words aren't. But, the beliefs are. 

Parents we talked to don't care what the school district calls it. 
They don't like their kids getting anti-police messages at school. 

They worry it leads to disrespect for police officers, who already suffer from anti-police rhetoric.
