ROCKWOOD SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE CONNECTED TO SAM PAGE CAMPAIGN, PLUS TWO CANDIDATES' HISTORY OF BIG POLITICS
Deborah Stine and Amy Ryan have a history in politics beyond this local school board election.
Campaign finance records show Amy Ryan set up a committee to run for state senator here in Missouri. This school board election appears to be a temporary detour. The name of the committee is still AMY RYAN FOR MISSOURI.
Those documents also show her connection to a high profile campaign fundraiser who is also a fundraiser for St. Louis County Executive Sam Page. Page is currently under scrutiny for alleged moonlighting. (He has a second job.)
Ryan has paid Bingaman thousands of dollars for her services. Ryan eventually changed Bingaman's title to "Compliance" on her campaign finance records, but continued to pay her. It is unusual to pay people to work on your campaign when you are running for a volunteer position, such as school board director.
Ryan also pays Act Blue fees. Act Blue is a one stop shop for democrats to find democrat candidates and donate.
